When to use freebase vs nic salts
Freebase is for sub-ohm devices and high-wattage vaping. Nic salts are for pod systems and low-wattage MTL. If your device runs 40W+ with coils below 1.0Ω, you want freebase. If your device runs 5-30W with coils above 1.0Ω, you want nic salts.
Understanding VG/PG ratios
VG is thick, sweet and produces big clouds. PG is thin, carries flavour better, and provides a stronger throat hit. 70VG/30PG is the sub-ohm standard. 80VG/20PG produces even bigger clouds. 50/50 is for MTL devices.

Can I use freebase e-liquid in a pod system?+
Only if your pod system is designed for sub-ohm coils. Standard MTL pod systems with 1.0Ω+ coils will struggle to vaporise high-VG freebase and produce weak vapour.
